Our story begins on the grand continent of Otan where our hero, Hedgewind Jalinbeti finds his life lacking in substance and quality. Seeking to better himself, he takes to traveling and learns dark secrets about his home country and the entire continent!
As the series progresses, our heroes, who all begin their lives in a familiar world, are thrust into other worlds where everything is different... where the WIll to Power is not universal. How will they survive in a universe where their very thoughts no longer serve them?
Many heroes have risen to power only to fall again as others acquire power of their own. In this sword and sorcery world, Power is the principal desire of all thinking beings.
When Hedgewind begins to question this universal truth, so begins the first of his sorrows. Perhaps power is but a distraction from what is truly important.
Our heroes, having unlocked many secrets of Otan discover a new continents whose inhabitants care not for their endless quest for power.
